Below kneeStefan Broodryk is our resident cool guy sporting tattoos and a funky, colourful prosthesis! Stefan has been with Deist from school days as he was born with a very short femur, under developed hip joint and foot. As a baby, they had to amputate his foot to give him a residual limb that could be fit with a prosthesis. Deist comments : "As an amputee, Stefan has done some serious body building and he is recently engaged! He is one of the best examples that nothing in our profession is the same or standard everyday!"
Stefan Broodryk got his psychedelic funky prosthesis today. Every patient can get the chance to express himself through his Prosthesis or individualize his prosthesis. Whether it is by colours or a more “real” look, it is up to you!
