Today was a personal victory day for me and a big part of getting completely out of my amputee closet! For the very first time since my amputation I wore a short dress without tights! This was a huge comfort zone for me and to be honest not so comfortable in warm weather. Dit is ons tweede lopie met 'n nuwe fitting. Anders as ons eerste lopie was die administrasie stil-stil deur die praktyk gehanteer en die volgende oomblik het ons medies die aansoek goedgekeur. Die nuwe been lyk baie professioneel en netjies. Die praktyk het my verbaas met hulle vinnige prossessering van versoeke. My man het al 'n seer van die vorige fitting, maar Jaco het nie vir dit geskrik nie, dieselfde dag het hy werk daarvan gemaak.
